Upon adding this to my “currently reading” list I received several responses from concerned Goodreaders regarding the state of my wellbeing. What can I say? Even a girl like me likes to read a little . . . .

every once in a while *shrug*

What actually . . . . ummmmm perked my interest was the original cover I saw while perusing NetGalley . . .

Yeah. Wow. Didn’t even need a synopsis to get me to pound on that Read Now button. I was all like . . .

The biggest surprise was that I pretty much enjoyed the story too. So what was Wrecked about????

Ha! Just kidding. However, since this was a New Adult title it did fall under one of the handful of potential plotlines available for use. This time it was the “I’m damaged and you’re damaged so let’s be friends and not complicate things with sex” theme . . . .

Lorrie has a rather unfortunate meet/cute with Hunter when she falls into a pond on their college campus and he fishes her out. A combination of embarrassment/excessive baggage has Lorrie bolting as soon as possible thinking she’ll never cross paths with Hunter again – and she doesn’t . . . until one night Lorrie gives in and agrees to go on a double-date her BFF set up. Said double-date turns out to be a real douchecanoe so Lorrie quickly excuses herself when she sees a crowd gathering for some sort of event. Turns out the event is a MMA fight and the main event happens to feature a certain someone . . .

(^^^and then God created man and it was guuuuuuuud^^^^^^)

This time Hunter isn’t going to let Lorrie escape so easily.

Y’all know what happens next, right????

Houston commercial photography

Yep. As their friendship develops so do Lorrie and Hunter’s feelings for each other until finally they give in to temptation and have some SERIOUSLY. HOT. sexytimes. I was all . . . .

Houston commercial photography

Of course since it was me reading this there came a point where enough was enough and there was talk of “cock” and calling each other “Babe” and “Hun” and . . . .

Houston commercial photography

But for the most part I liked it. Until the G.D. ending. Cliffhanger?!?!?!? Motherf*&^%r!!!!!!

Houston commercial photography

(I might still read it, though, because I’m still feeling horny for some porny.)

Oh, and one more thing . . .

Houston commercial photography

Yeah. I think I’ll just go ahead and leave that riiiiiiiight here.
