Back then, it really was something. Now, sure, it pales a bit in comparison to real life and antifeminist dystopic porn. But you might like Atwood's more contemporary work starting with Oryx and Crake? Or not. Either way, check out Octavia Butler's Parable of the Sower and Parable of the Talents.
